Senior HR Manager (BF)

The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for organizational and training development, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retention, compensation and benefits administration, policies and procedures, payroll/HRIS, safety and compliance. This role will have one direct report and will report to the President with a dotted line to the Global VP of HR.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Manage and execute HR programs and strategic initiatives. Ensure effective implementation of ongoing programs, including the annual performance management process. Design and implement HR best practices; leverage expertise and utilize resources to support and promote client group business objectives. Provide problem evaluation/interpretation of policy for management and employees; advise/counsel employees and management with the objective of problem prevention and resolution. Handle HR employee relations issues. Assist business leaders with training, development, and succession planning issues; design and propose initiatives and programs to train and develop employees, increase productivity, improve morale, motivate employees, and create a positive employee relations climate. Lead the performance management and development process. Design, develop and implement human resource initiatives to support objectives and strategy. Project Management lead.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree. 10+ years experience with progressive HR experience. PHR/SPHR certification a plus. Experience within manufacturing environment required. Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and employment laws. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills with ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information as needed. Strong management and employee relations skills. Strong business acumen and business partnering skills. Excellent consulting, coaching, organizational and facilitation skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and working knowledge of an HRIS. Ability to travel 20-30%.
