The HR Manager will be responsible for all HR matters including; employee relations, compensation analysis, recruitment, payroll, training/coaching, onboarding, compliance and policy implementation, benefits administration, training/development, and performance management.
Handle and resolve all Human Resources issues with the support of HR team. Manage all Employee Relations investigations and trainings. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll and policies. Manager issues related to employee relations within the various facilities. Partner with managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues. Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and social security number verification. Create and maintain new hire and personnel files. Manage the implementation and administration of HR policies and programs. Analyze and prepare HR reports. Provide guidance and coaching to Plant Leadership. Manage new hire orientations and facilitate New Employee Orientation Program. Manage all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9s). Processes paperwork for personnel actions including terminations, FMLA, benefits enrollment, etc. Respond to unemployment claims and hearings for assigned facilities. Experience with recruitment, employee relations investigations and compensation planning.
5+ years of HR experience. Bilingual (Spanish) required. Experience working within a manufacturing environment required. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of HRIS systems. Strong analytical thinking. Excellent communication skills.
