Director of Field Sales and Medical Territory Alignment
Experience with Bio Pharma or Bio Pharma CRM supplier preferred.
This position requires specialized knowledge of and experience with applying pharmaceutical industry targeting, alignment and call planning practices. This position manages a variety of processes, and systems that interact with field, Targeting and Alignment, Incentive Compensation and CRM tool – both within and outside of Sales Operations.
This position will actively manage the internal sales planning system and processes, including alignment update and call plan feedback, ensuring all outputs are as per defined and approved business rules. The position requires the ability to effectively interact and communicate with key stakeholders, internal departments which include - but are not limited to - sales and marketing management, co-promotion partners, IT, Business Analytics and outside vendors to manage cross functional Field Alignment and Call plan roll out process.
Manage end to end sales planning cycle for the field across all teams. Build timelines and delivery schedules, provide updates, address dependencies. Manage day to sales planning system including updates and enhancements to accommodate business needs. Responsible for accurate and timely output of People Assignment (Roster), Territory Alignment and Customer Alignment. Project manage initiatives related to field forces sizing, alignment updates, restructuring, etc. Responsible for planning, development, oversight, and timely deployment of territory, district, regional and national sales force geographical alignments. Leads efforts to continuously improve internal and customer facing processes related to alignments, ensuring efficiency and relevance. Develops and maintains stringent quality control process and measures that ensure the accuracy of all reports and information disseminated from Sales Operations. Coordinate communication to the field on all matters that impact customer and territory alignments that are provided to other functions.
Minimum of a BA/BS degree is required. Experience with SQL, Python, and Power BI highly preferred. Experience with pharma data platforms (ie, Veeva, IQVIA, Siebel Systems, Dendrite Sales). Experience with Symphony RX (public and private) patient data or APLD (anonymous longitudinal patient data). Expert knowledge of and experience applying good targeting and alignment practices is required. Minimum 5-10 years of direct experience working on sizing projects, developing alignments and call plans is needed. Minimum 3 years experience / knowledge of sales operations, training, marketing or other similar department is needed.
Post graduate degree in business or life sciences desired.
