Take on all aspects of financial management and accounting, including property accounting, corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, as well as development of internal controls. Will be responsible for technical accounting, oversight of financial processes, and clerical staff. Manage the accounting for real estate holdings, property management, and operating businesses. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, AIR, cash management, and recording of operations via QuickBooks. Will monitor cash accounts and bank recs. Collaborate with external accountants and prepare annual tax returns. Perform corporate and real property portfolio budgeting and YTD performance analysis. Perform financial analysis / credit analysis.
4-year accounting degree. CPA a plus. 7+ years' experience in relevant accounting roles. Property management or related real estate field a plus. QuickBooks experience necessary.
