The Senior Customer Service Representative will develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer orders are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Accurately process unique purchase orders in an expeditious manner with professionalism, including working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of orders. Take ownership of the order management process from receipt of the purchase order through to the customer receiving the product satisfactorily. Acknowledge and address all customer inquiries in a timely manner. Provide customers with updates or a resolution prior to the close of business each day. Address any issues that may occur and escalate to management for their engagement and support. Add value to the business by providing outstanding customer service, engage customers and build relationships with buyers by accounts. Ability to understand purchasing trends and continue to manage the orders. All communication to customers must be complete with accurate information and presented professionally, must demonstrate an “above and beyond effort and attitude” in order to exceed customers’ expectations. Operate at a high level to consistently meet or exceed the business’ quality and productivity standard.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum 5 to 7 years of corporate order management and customer service experience. Must be a self-starter, projecting a positive attitude and be able to effectively function in a multi-task environment. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent follow-up skills.
