HR Manager will be responsible for all HR matters including; employee relations, recruitment, union grievance resolutions, training/coaching, onboarding, compliance and policy implementation, benefits administration, training/development, and performance management. Large focus of the role will be on labor relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide guidance and direction concerning all day to day HR related issues. Administer HR policies and procedures. Well versed in labor relations. Assist with compensation & benefits administration. Conduct performance reviews to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Handle union negotiations and processes for local collective bargaining agreements. Assist in administration of grievance processes and provide support in labor negotiations. Handle grievances, mediations, and arbitrations. Initial contact regarding employee relations issues. Handle employee relations investigations and provide disciplines from warnings through the termination process. Processes paperwork for personnel actions including terminations, FMLA, benefits enrollment, etc. Development and implement policies and procedures. Creates and maintains employee handbook and policies. Train, counsel and coach employees. Provide general human resources policy and procedural guidance, support and interpretation. Provide guidance on all compliance and regulatory issues related to management initiatives. Lead a team of HR professionals.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years’ HR experience. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Experience within unionized environment. Strong employee and labor relations experience. Experience in training/coaching staff. Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations. Knowledge of employment laws in various states. Highly organized and strong computer technical skills. Possesses outstanding interpersonal, written, oral communication, listening, and influencing skills. Proven ability to prioritize workload while multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability and experience working within a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and very detail-oriented.
