Direct Marketing Manager (SEB)

Job Location: Morris Plains, NJ

Responsible for all direct marketing efforts including direct mail, email, and customer journey and experience marketing for the company. Role reports to Senior Manager of Direct Marketing, and is responsible for planning, designing, and the execution of direct marketing campaigns to achieve company goals and growth initiatives. Develop and implement strategy. Identify and grow income streams from all direct marketing activity. Manage relationships with marketing and business partners to determine best strategy to meet business goals and objectives. Influences business lines to continue to invest and test new offers and channels and support business development. Partner with internal marketing colleagues to ensure the brands are appropriately and consistently represented across all channels. Present direct marketing updates to senior leadership, including the reviewing of results and insights and providing of recommendations for leveraging direct marketing in the short and long term. Plan, Budget and Execute direct mail, email, social, phone and other 1 to 1 targetable channels projects and programs. Partner with direct marketing analytics resources to develop and execute learning agenda for each business line. Create reports and dashboards to monitor and manage campaign effectiveness. Partner with internal marketing relationship managers and analytics team members to plan direct marketing strategies and ensure effective use of budgets. Manage external vendors/partners through effective contract negotiation and vendor management. Acts as liaison for internal partners and outside vendors. Manage a team of campaign specialists who are responsible for the execution of direct marketing campaigns.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. Seven + years of experience in managing marketing campaigns, portfolio management, and/or product development. Project management and management experience. Working knowledge of marketing automation software. Solid creative judgment with advertising/direct marketing production knowledge.
